Confieso que lo mío lo mío es el beisbol, pero también me gusta mucho la Fórmula 1 y el futbol americano.
De pasada les digo que me choca el soccer y detesto con toda mi alma el mal llamado "arte" de la "fiesta bava", que de arte, fiesta y brava tiene lo que mi abuelita tenía de gobernadora, porque ella nomás llegó a ser alcaldesa -la primera de México- de Perros Bravos, NL, que luego cambió de nombre -porque no les gustó a sus habitantes- al de Gatos Güeros y que hoy nomás se llama, Bravo.
Además, gracias al privilegio de ser co-fundador de DETONA, puedo darme el gusto de escribir de algo más que de política y de cosas peores, como dice mi admirado amigo Armando Fuentes Aguirre.
Y como ayer le atiné a que ganaban sus juegos los Bengals contra los odiosos -más por su dueño y el mamón sampetrino tortugoso que presume ser su fan número 1- que por los jugadores mismos, que ni mal me caen.
Es más, se me hace que el quarterback Carr va a madurar y cuando lo logre, hará del equipo que lo tenga una super potencia. Ojalá no siga en los Raiders del otro híperlactante de su dueño, el tal Davis.
Dicho lo anterior, vámonos con mis pronósticos para los tres juegos de hoy y el de mañana. ¡Arre! o más bien, ¡Primero y 10!
PHILADELPHIA EN "TOM-PA" BAY
Hoy ganan porque gana los Bucs de Tom Brady. Noliace que el estelar Antonio Brown vaya a ver el juego en la comodidad de su penthouse en esa hermosa ciudad de los juegos ni a la ausencia por el méndigo COVID de varios de sus jugadores estelares.
Brady se va a echar al equipo a su lomo y van a ver cómo se levantan con un triunfo que hará enloquecer a sus fanáticos, los mismos con quienes convivimos en el pasado Súper Bowl, al que asistí con mi inseparable y amada, la irreverente de mi Gaby Kalifa de Garza.
SAN FRANCISCO EN DALLAS
Aunque el mentado californiano Jerry Wayne Jones Sr., dueño de los Cowboys me cae igual que el Davis de los Raiders, es inevitable que los 49´s caigan hoy en Dallas, porque el equipo de la estrella solitaria suele crecerse cuando juega en casa y además, Jimmy Garoppolo suele hacerse chiquito en los desafíos grandes.
Jerry tiene los mismos delirios de grandeza que el dueño de los Raiders: se construyeron casas de más de $20 millones de dólares y compraron yates arriba de los $20 millones de la misma moneda.
Pero eso es marginal tomando en cuenta que los corredores de Dallas comandados por Ezequiel Elliot, van a partirle la mandarina a la defensa de los de San Francisco.
PITTSBURGH EN KANSAS CITY
Lo siento por "Big Ben" y también por mi Coach Yvette -fan número 1 de los Steelers- pero hoy van a ver su último partido de uno de los quarterback más derechos que tiene la NFL.
Los números de Ben no son para ensombrecer los de los consagrados en esa posición como Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Staubach, Elway, Montana, Favre, Tarkenton, Bradshaw, pero es un seguro próximo integrante del Salón de la Fama por su integridad, dentro y fuera del campo de juego.
Hoy se despedirá de la NFL y les anticipo una cosa: al final, los miles de aficionados que llenarán el estadio de sus Chiefs, le van a tributar una ovación HISTÓRICA, porque se va un HISTÓRICO...
DENVER EN LOS ANGELES RAMS
Mañana ganan los Rams porque los Cardenales han caído estrepitosamente en su brillante inicio de campaña.
Algo sucedió con los pájaros rojos que ni sus mismos gerentes se explican.
Los números en todas sus líneas van a la baja y al jugar den el estadio de los Rams, se toparán con la triste realidad de que solo les queda aprender de sus errores con miras a la siguiente campaña.
Entonces, hoy los topes de los Carneros sonarán mucho más que los trinos de los Cardenales.
No se pierdan las reseñas de mi Coach Yvette hoy al final de este domingo y mañana, con el resultado del Monday Night Football.
